HydraTite® is a trenchless internal pipe joint sealing system designed to stop leaks and rehabilitate aging underground infrastructure without excavation or surface disruption. Installed entirely from inside the pipe, HydraTite® provides a mechanical, long-term repair solution for water, wastewater, stormwater, power generation, and transportation systems.
Designed and manufactured by HydraTech in the USA, each seal is engineered to match the pipe’s size, shape, material, and operating conditions. From standard round pipe to irregular or non-cylindrical geometries, HydraTite® delivers exceptional flexibility and proven performance across a wide range of underground infrastructure applications.

Who Uses HydraTite?
HydraTite® is trusted by professionals across the water, stormwater, transportation, power generation, and municipal infrastructure sectors. For more than three decades, the system has been specified and installed as a reliable solution for sealing leaking joints in both pressure and non-pressure pipelines.
HydraTite® has been applied in a wide range of systems, including drinking water mains, storm drain networks, sanitary sewers, gas pipelines, transmission and distribution lines, storage pipelines, and power generation facilities.
Our Seals Are Simple
At its core, the HydraTite® Internal Pipe Joint Seal system consists of two primary components: a rubber sealing sleeve and stainless steel retaining bands that secure the seal in place.
Rubber sleeves are available in standard-wide, extra-wide, and double-wide configurations, with double-wide providing the largest coverage area. HydraTech offers EPDM rubber for typical water and wastewater applications, as well as nitrile rubber (NBR) for environments exposed to oils, fuels, and petroleum-based fluids.
Stainless steel retaining bands are available in single-piece and multi-piece designs, allowing the system to adapt to varying diameters, offset joints, small access points, and non-round pipe profiles. Band thickness and material can also be customized, including high-performance alloys such as AL-6XN, which are commonly specified for demanding environments like power generation facilities.

Where Has HydraTite Been Installed?
HydraTite® has been installed in thousands of projects throughout the United States, as highlighted here. Depending on the scope and requirements of each project, HydraTech may serve as the installation contractor or provide materials, engineering support, and certified installer training.
Beyond the United States, HydraTite® has also been successfully deployed in international infrastructure projects, including installations in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Chile, and Ireland.
Design Flexibility
HydraTite® is engineered to match the specific conditions of each project. Pipe diameter, material, joint configuration, flow characteristics, and operating pressure are accounted for to ensure proper fit and long-term performance. This engineering-driven approach allows for rehabilitation in both gravity and pressure systems. Eliminate leaks to protect underground infrastructure from inflow and infiltration in any pipe 24 inches in diameter or larger.
Custom-manufacturing allows for installation in elliptical pipe, arched aqueducts, box culverts, tunnels, and other non-cylindrical structures. HydraTite® can function as a liner termination seal, fortifying the end of the liner. The system’s flexible rubber accommodates structural movement, allowing it to function as a replacement expansion joint. HydraTite® seals have been successfully installed in materials ranging from PVC and HDPE to corrugated metal and reinforced concrete pipe. Seals can be installed underwater, interlocked to span larger repair areas, or equipped with additional retaining bands to withstand higher head pressures.
