HydraTech recently completed a DOT project in which we installed HydraTite in 67 joints in 8 twin culverts. These culverts were scattered throughout Ohio’s District 7 and were 48″, 60″, and 70″ in diameter. For this job, concrete was used to fill the joints and missing portions of pipe, and then the HydraTite Seal was installed over the concrete. Now with the pipe joints protected against exfiltration and infiltration, concerns of sinkholes forming can be put at ease.
