Overview

Marine HydraWrap® is an engineered fiber-reinforced polymer repair system designed to restore or enhance the structural integrity of marine piping, bulkheads, and offshore infrastructure. Built on proven HydraWrap® technology, the system provides a rapid, permanent, chemical- and corrosion-resistant structural repair without welding or other hot work. Each Marine HydraWrap® system uses a high-performance carbon fiber reinforced polymer composite consisting of a 100% solids, high-build epoxy primer, a 100% solids epoxy wet-out resin, and high-strength carbon fiber fabric. The primer delivers excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates while allowing sag-resistant application at increased film thicknesses, and the wet-out resin thoroughly saturates the carbon fiber to form a composite matrix with high tensile and flexural strength.

Marine HydraWrap® conforms to a wide range of pipe diameters, fittings, shapes, and structural configurations, making it suitable for straight pipe, elbows, tees, reducers, bulkheads, and other complex repairs. Standard and acid-resistant systems develop physical properties rapidly through ambient curing and require no post-cure, while low-temperature formulations can cure at temperatures down to 40°F (4°C). The system is 100% solvent-free and produces zero VOCs, and it is available with standard high-performance, acid-resistant, or high-temperature epoxy formulations depending on the application. Marine HydraWrap® is supplied in convenient repair kits that include the required materials, tools, and instructions for common pipe sizes and shapes, helping installers complete repairs efficiently and consistently. The Marine HydraWrap® system is ABS Design Approved for applicable marine repair configurations.
